The 2nd Working-Group meeting was succesfully held in Phuket, Thailand

from 2014. 05.20 ~ 05. 23 at the Roay Phuket City Hotel

The preparatory meeting was held to inform the progress and preparation of 18th ITOP Forum

And also the main theme and sub themes for the actual conference were discussed at the meeting

At the working-level meeting, ITOP member regions also discussed Joint projects.

There was a success of student exchange project between Jeju-Bali.

Phuket suggested 2 exchange program for ITOP Regions.


1) The language and cultural exchange project

: The project is established by Phuket Rajabat University

To educate the local languages among participated countries

exchange cultures and support tourism activities by arranging field trip to tourist attracions.


2) The Tourism Human Resource Development exchange project

: The project will be arranged by Phuket city Municipality sector.

To exchange knowledge about management and development of tourism city

To develop skill and learning process about tourism city

To offer experience to the human resource for them to apply in their work

Project period will be 7 days of this year.

The host regions will offer accommodation and dining expenses.

The venue for this project can be changed after discussion between Phuket and Jeju
