The Bali Art Festival is the largest arts festival in Bali which is has an international reputation. This event is held every year by the Bali Provincial Government in an effort to provide a place and space for artistic actualization to the Balinese people.

On an ongoing basis, the excavation and preservation of art and culture is carried out including philosophy, noble and universal values, basic concepts, cultural heritage, both objects and non-objects of high historical value, science and art as representations of civilization as well as the development of art through creation, innovation, cultural adaptation with the hope of remaining alive and sustainable in the context of changes in time and era and in an ever-changing environment.

The Bali Art Festival is the longest continuously held festival in Bali, and in 2024 it will be the 46th. In this event, various arts and cultural activities will be displayed, such as: cultural parades, art performances, parades, competitions, workshops, exhibitions, workshops, awards for artists, and many more. All of these activities are in the context of strengthening and advancing Balinese culture. This event lasts for one month and takes place at the Bali Art Center in Denpasar. In this event there is always participation in art performances from outside Bali, both national and international.
